 The Center is the former Job Skills Training Center of Veterans Affairs Committee established in January 1975. At the initial stage, the Center provided vocational training to veterans and assisted them in job seeking for veterans' or military officers' children. In November 1976, the Center formed cooperative relationship with Taoyuan Senior Vocational School to launch the experimental training class. |
| In 1979, the Center took charge of vocational training for young adults, as commissioned by Labor Affairs Council. The Center then implemented vocational education program, in addition to the existing vocational training, and handled admission recommendation or test preparation affairs for veterans. In June 1997, the Center combined with the education center, and took charge of career training for its own staff members. |
| The mission of the Center is "Improving veterans' job training to assist them in employment". Under the guidance of Executive Yuan and superior bureaus, the Center strives to provide the best vocational training, job skills certification, and employment consultation services to veterans and their family members so they can join the work and better serve the society. |
